No blog about Spain would be complete without mentioning the strange relationship that most people here have to the Catholic church.

in fact i've noticed that many people here use the term "christian" to mean "catholic" and then look bemused when i explain to them that there are several christian religions out there which are not catholic! i don't think they believe me....
Wait till you try to tell them that some of them don't even have saints!
