Sushi restaurants in Sant Cugat

We really like sushi, so we've been to most of the sushi places here (and whether they take restaurant tickets):
  • Teik it: Take-out only Sushi. Very well priced and excellent quality. Interesting variety of rolls, purists may object. Tickets no.
  • Zuka: At the monestary square with wok style on the ground floor and sushi upstairs. The quality is good, but expensive.
  • Matsu is an authentic moderate priced (at least during lunch time) sushi place at the "World Trade Center" in eastern Sant Cugat. They'll give you an hour free parking as long as you don't order the cheapest menu. Tickets: no.
  • La Cuina d'en Xiao Wu: Chinese, but they do sushi as well. The rice isn't quite right, but the prices are good, the staff are friendly and our son gets to practice his Chinese. Tickets: yes. (Closed Mondays)
  • Sushi Shop is a takeout (sorry I mean takeaway) place with decent sushi and good prices. Tickets: yes. (closed Mondays).
  • Wok Gran Siglo (near the burger king across the street from Eroski): a buffet place that my wife's taxi driver was raving about. He was raving mostly about the prices. My favorite is the English version of the drinks menu, where they have helpfully translated sangria as "bloody". The sushi is pretty bad. Tickets: yes.
  • Veritas has frozen "organic" sushi. I don't like it that much, but the kids don't seem to mind.
  • Haiku: To do. Tickets: no

I have been to Haiku and it was authentic Japanese, with some sushi. It was good but expensive.

Thanks! Restaurant tickets are monopoly money that your employer can give you to pay for restaurant food (or in some cases other stuff). The money is not taxed, so it's a nice win-win for both employee and employer.

Hanaya in Pg Francesc Macia is not that bad but options are a bit limited.

Sugoi not bad, maybe the best after Zuka? I was not impressed by Matsu instead...
