In the land of the free (or at least for those who can afford a good lawyer).
The laptop is fully loaded with Spongebob Square Pants (Bob Esponja Pantalones Cuadrados) for the flight. This is the current hit show among the preschool set in Spain. I think kids love the show because the characters are so stupid that they make the kids feel like geniuses.
Yesterday the kids were coming off the school bus all yelling together "Bob Es-Pon-ja! Bob Es-Pon-ja!"

My kids are totally clueless about him. When they see the character plastered all over stuff here, they call him the "cheese man." ha!
Unfortunately the kids in my son's class watch way too much tv, so we need to make some effort that he isn't totally out of touch with pop-culture.
We have a pretty strict rule that the ipod/laptop only works on flights and long car trips. Sometimes I wonder if they love going on trips more for the video games they get to play on the plane than anything else...
