Failing again at constructive feedback

I often pick up food from a nearby restaurant when I don’t have time for a full two hour lunch break. The other day, the soup I had picked up tasted a bit off, so the next day I commented to them that the soup yesterday hadn’t been so good.

“Then why did you come back? Normally people who don’t like our food just go somewhere else.”

couldn't be more true. What's up with catalans and saying "sorry" once in a while?

It doesn't exist in catalan ;-)

Oh, no. That's the same attitude of "who cares what you want" and "it's good enough for everyone else" that is so prevalent here. Only here, in Costa Rica, they're totally passive aggressive, so while they might not actually say such a thing, they'd make sure to spit in your food the next time.
