Bullying magically disappears at Spanish schools

Had an interesting experience the other day with an incident at school with one of our kids. Any sane person would have considered the situation bullying, but the school was absolutely adamant that this did not qualify as bullying, so nothing would need to be done.

Turns out the reason they were so adamant has more to do with ass-covering than actual concern for children, since the law now makes schools liable if they don’t deal with bullying.

Unfortunately, instead of helping children, this new rule seems to have actually made things more difficult for kids that are being bullied, since the school really really doesn’t want it to official admit what happened, since this would be admitting to liability if they didn’t do anything about it.
